課程簡史

本院為伯特利會於一九二五年在上海創辦。初時定名「伯特利聖經學院」，三年制畢業。一九三八年由上海遷來香港；四七年初改名「伯特利神學院」，四年制畢業，並授神學學士學位(Bachelor of Theology)。

一九八九年為帶職事奉者開設延伸制聖經/神學證書課程。九四年增設基督教輔導學證書/文憑課程。一九九七年設立臨牧牧關教育/教牧輔導教育證書。

一九九七及九八年得與加拿大阿基狄亞大學(Acadia University)聯繫，分別合辦道學碩士(Master of Divinity)、文學碩士(Master of Arts in Theology)及神學研究碩士(Master of Theological Studies)。

一九九九年為有志深入研讀聖經及神學的信徒開設神學研究學士(Bachelor of Theological Studies) 
 

A BRIEF STUDY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Our seminary was founded in 1925 in Shanghai; it was first named Bethel Bible College, offering a three year curriculum. It was moved to Hong Kong in 1938; renamed Bethel Bible Seminary in 1947, a four year curriculum offering a Bachelor of Theology degree.

　　In 1989, we have set up Certificates in Biblical/Theological Studies for Church Leaders.

　　In 1994, we have set up Certificates/Diploma in Christian Counseling, Clinical Pastoral Education and Pastoral Counseling Education.

　　In 1997, we have affiliated with Acadia University and Started offering Master of Divinity, Master of Art (Theology) and Master of Theological Studies.

　　In 1998, we have registered as a professional organization {The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and Pastoral Counseling Education (Hong Kong) Limited.} HKACPE/PCE, hoping that this organization will help promote the training.

　　In 1998, we have set up Bethel Pastoral Counseling Centre to promote a Bible based counseling to integrate our faith with counseling and to serve the community at large.

　　In 1999, we have also set up a new program in Bachelor of Theological Studies for lay leader to do move in depth research and studies in Bible and in Theology.
